Ukrainian strikes kill one, injure nine in Russia's Belgorod region

One person was killed and nine others were injured in strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russia's Belgorod region, Report informs, citing Russian media.

Alexander Shuvayev, acting governor of the region, said that Ukrainian forces carried out 157 strikes on the Belgorod region over the past day.

Four of those injured are receiving inpatient treatment.

Air defense crews and other units involved shot down and jammed 177 drones, the acting governor said.

Ukraine has in recent months intensified strikes inside Russia, with many attacks targeting energy facilities, industrial sites and infrastructure linked to the country's military and economy.
