Ukrainian President meets with Italian Prime Minister

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on September 7 during the Ambrosetti international economic forum, according to the official website of the Ukrainian President, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.
President Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude to Meloni and the Italian people for their support.
“We are very grateful to you and your team, to the entire Italian people, for your support,” Zelenskyy said.
During the meeting, Zelenskyy updated Meloni on the battlefield situation and highlighted Ukraine’s most pressing defense needs.
The leaders also discussed the practical steps for implementing the G7’s decision to allocate nearly $50 billion to Ukraine from frozen Russian assets.
