Ukrainian military shoots down Russian Mi-28 helicopter for first time

The Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down a Russian Mi-28 helicopter in the country's east, Report informs, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

One of the Russian Mi-28 and Ka-52 helicopters was hit by an anti-aircraft missile during the flight in the airspace of eastern Ukraine.

So far, the Ukrainian military has shot down two Ka-52s and destroyed the Mi-28 for the first time.
