Ukrainian MIA: Russian servicemen take away phones from citizens

Ukrainian operators cut off communications for the Russian forces by blocking the access of phones with Russian numbers to their networks, said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Report informs.

"Having lost the opportunity to call from their numbers, the occupying forces are increasingly taking away phones from citizens.

"We call on Ukrainians whose mobile phones have been confiscated by representatives of the enemy troops to inform the operator as soon as possible and ask them to block the stolen phone. We understand that doing this when the phone is taken away is not easy.

"However, this is of vital importance - find neighbours who have a phone, use a landline telephone - the security of our state and the lives of Ukrainians depends on it," the ministry said.
