Ukrainian intelligence: 'Russia ordered ballistic missiles from Iran'

Russia ordered ballistic missiles from Iran, Report informs, citing the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry.

Ukraine's military intelligence has confirmed information about the ongoing preparation of a draft agreement on the supply of Iranian ballistic missiles to Russia.

"Due to sanctions, Russia is limited in the production of weapons, so it tries to buy weapons from other countries. We understand the danger of using ballistic missiles against our state, so today, our diplomacy, military intelligence and other structures are actively working to prove to the world how dangerous Iran's arms supply to Russia is," the directorate said.

According to military intelligence, Iran and Russia signed an agreement this summer for the supply of approximately 1,750 unmanned aerial vehicles of two types - Shahed and Mohajer.
