Ukrainian intelligence: Elite units of Russian army destroyed

The elite units of the Russian army were destroyed, said Andrey Yusov, a spokesman for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin is to blame for this: “The enemy's attacks have already failed. Today, they cannot repeat the attempts they made on February 24 of last year.”

Yusov said that this should not be interpreted as Russia's defeat yet:

“It doesn’t mean that the enemy has been defeated or does not pose a threat to Ukraine. Although most of them are outdated, they still have enough equipment.”

At the same time, he stressed that Ukraine is preparing to liberate its lands from occupation.
