The Cassation Administrative Court within the Supreme Court of Ukraine dismissed the appeal of the Socialist Party of Ukraine, thereby banning its activities, Report informs, citing UNIAN.
"From now on, the activities of 12 pro-Russian political forces have been completely banned in Ukraine," the Security Service of Ukraine said.
The decision to ban the party is reportedly connected with the presidential decree and the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, based on the evidence of the destructive activities of the party, collected as part of the SBU's response to threats to national security.
