Two candidates nominated for chairmanship in Georgian CEC

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has nominated two candidates - Giorgi Kalandarishvili and Giorgi Santuriani for the post of chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC).
They successfully passed the interview between 8 candidates. Both currently hold senior positions in the CEC.
The issue is expected to be considered at today's meeting of the bureau of the legislature.
Former CEC chairperson Tamar Zhvania resigned on June 30.
