TUSAŞ official: Türkiye to cut foreign reliance in drone tech within 5-10 years

Türkiye aims to completely eliminate its foreign dependency in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) within the next 5 to 10 years, said Gokhan Ucar, assistant to the chairman of the board of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), Report informs, citing Turkish press.
Ucar emphasized the importance of removing this dependency. "In the Armenia-Azerbaijan war, we saw that they wouldn't even give us a screw," he noted.
"Our priority is to be fair. No unfair business can be sustainable," Ucar added.
