Türkiye, US delegations hold talks led by Erdoğan, Trump in Ankara

A meeting of the Turkish and US delegations was held in Ankara under the chairmanship of the two countries' leaders, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Donald Trump, Report informs, citing TRT Haber.

Earlier, Trump and Erdoğan held a one-on-one meeting at the Presidential Residence.

The closed-door talks were attended on the Turkish side by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek, National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party Ömer Çelik, Chief of General Staff Gen. Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Turkish intelligence chief İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, Head of the President's Private Secretariat Hasan Doğan, Chief Adviser to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and Türkiye's Ambassador to Washington Sedat Önal.

A NATO summit of heads of state and government is being held in the Turkish capital.
