Turkiye to increase production of Bayraktar TB2 by 2.5 times

Baykar Makina, the manufacturer of the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), intends to more than double the production of drones, CEO Haluk Bayraktar told Anadolu, Report informs.
According to him, today, the capacity of the Bayraktar TB2 production facility is 200 units per year:
"By next year, we plan to increase this number to 500 Bayraktar TB2 and 40 Bayraktar Akinci. Investments in production do not stop. We take into account not only the needs of Turkiye but also the growing demand from abroad."
Bayraktar noted that the number of countries importing Bayraktar TB2 attack drones has reached 24, and the share of export income in the total income basket is 98%.
