Türkiye supports Pakistan's role in US-Iran ceasefire process

Türkiye supports the agreement reached between the United States and Iran, as well as the ongoing talks, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said.

Report informs that Turkish president said this at a joint press conference with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

"I congratulate Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and our other Pakistani brothers on achieving this result," Erdoğan said.

Sharif said Türkiye had always supported Pakistan during the process of reaching a ceasefire between the United States and Iran.

During the press conference, both leaders also stressed that economic ties between Türkiye and Pakistan would be developed further.

More detailed information on the matter was provided at the Türkiye-Pakistan Business Forum held in Istanbul. Speaking at the forum, Sharif announced that a special area would be allocated to Turkish investors in the Karachi Industrial Park.
