Türkiye's National Security Council meets under Erdogan's chairmanship

Another meeting of Türkiye's National Security Council, NSC, is being held under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Report informs, citing TRT Haber.

According to TRT, the meeting is taking place at the Presidential Complex.

The meeting is discussing the "Terror-Free Türkiye" bill submitted to parliament, the process of the terrorist organization laying down arms, and related intelligence information.

Counterterrorism measures, as well as regional and international security issues, are also on the agenda.

The meeting is also expected to assess diplomatic initiatives related to the ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran, as well as shipping security in the Black Sea.

The latest situation in Cyprus, developments in Syria and Iraq, and Israel's military operations in the region are also expected to be discussed.
