Türkiye condemns deadly attack in Damascus

Türkiye's Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the deadly attack in the Hijaz district of Syria's capital, Damascus.
In a statement posted on X, the ministry said such attacks are aimed at undermining progress toward lasting stability and security in Syria.
"We believe the best response to such attempts and to those seeking to disrupt public order will come from the Syrian people by preserving their unity and solidarity," the statement said.
According to the latest reports, five people were killed and 16 others were injured in the attack.
