Türkiye arrests 423 suspects in drug trafficking operations

Operations have been carried out against drug traffickers in 69 provinces of Türkiye, with 423 people arrested.
Report informs, citing TRT Haber, that 708 kg 269 g of drugs and 2,971,219 psychotropic pills were seized during operations conducted over the past week.
A total of 1,005 suspects were detained. Arrest warrants were issued for 423 of them, while 138 were released pending trial.
An investigation is underway.
