Türkiye, Armenia mull restoration of Ani Bridge

Türkiye and Armenia discussed the restoration of the Ani Bridge, Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu wrote on X, Report informs.

The minister announced that he had met with Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan, during which the parties discussed the restoration of rail and road links between the two countries.

According to Uraloglu, in this context, in addition to the launch of repair and restoration work in Türkiye, the parties discussed the progress of preparatory processes in Armenia, including the tender process.

The ministers also touched upon the restoration of the Ani Bridge, exchanging views on the steps necessary to restore this important trace of shared history.
