Türkiye and Armenia agree to continue work on full opening of borders

Turkish and Armenian Foreign Ministers Mevlut Cavusoglu and Ararat Mirzoyan today agreed to continue work on the full opening of the border and jointly repair the Ani Bridge, Report informs citing the Armenian media.
"At today's meeting in Ankara, the details were discussed, the countries will work together on infrastructures," Mirzoyan said at a joint press conference in Ankara following the talks with his Turkish counterpart.
The Ani Bridge is located on the Armenian-Turkish border on the Akhuryan River.
In turn, Cavusoglu noted that "both sides have the results of the analysis and inspections of roads and bridges near the border crossings."
"The work is underway, there are steps that we will take regarding the roads leading to the border checkpoints. Today we agreed to speed up the adoption of these measures," Cavusoglu said.
