Turkish President: Russia has serious losses

Of course, the war between Russia and Ukraine is a process that the world has not seen or experienced recently, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told journalists on his way back from a visit to Uzbekistan, Report informs.

"Today, Russia is one of the top three countries globally in terms of territory, population, military, political, economic, and cultural power. It is impossible to turn a blind eye to this situation. Ukraine is no ordinary nation. Today, Ukraine has a population of about 45 million and is not a small country. At present, of course, the world, especially the West, supports Ukraine. We are talking about such a structure. Assessments have been made in this regard. Of course, some said, 'this war will end in a week, ten days.' As you can see, this war is not over in a week or ten days. There are many casualties, especially among children and women. Now it is impossible to ignore them. Strong Russia has such serious losses," he stressed.

According to the head of state, peace is the most important solution and way out:

"From this point of view, I hope we can help complete this work as soon as possible. As Turkiye, we will be happy to complete this work with the confidence of both Mr. Putin and Mr. Zelensky about such a process."
