It won't be possible to achieve peace if contact between Russia and Ukraine does not continue, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, Report informs.
"For us, the war will end at the negotiating table. A just peace must be achieved. Of course, Ukrainian lands are under occupation. None of the parties will accept a unilateral peace," he said.
According to Cavusoglu, it is very difficult to predict the outcome of the war in Ukraine: "We have good relations with both sides. That is why we did not join the sanctions against Moscow. On the contrary, despite being a NATO country, we continued our contact with Russia."
