Tourist group goes missing in mountains of Karachay-Cherkessia

A tourist group has gone missing at an altitude of nearly 3,000 meters near the Jantu Cave area in Karachay-Cherkessia.
According to Report, citing a source who spoke to REN TV, search and rescue operations began during the night of June 17.
Rescuers located a tent at the site where the group's tracking device last transmitted a signal.
The number of people in the missing group remains unknown. Mobile and satellite communications are unavailable in the search area, complicating rescue efforts.
