Tokayev establishes new state body within Security Council

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a decree titled "On Measures to Further Improve the Public Administration System of the Republic of Kazakhstan."

According to Akorda, cited by Report, the decree establishes the Office of the Security Council of Kazakhstan.

The new state body will report directly to and be accountable to the country"s president.
