Tehran says crew of MCS Aries vessel detained by Iran will be released

The crew of the MCS Aries, detained by the Iranian military in the Strait of Hormuz, will be released, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said, Report informs via Iranian media.
"We are seriously considering the humanitarian issue related to the release of the ship's crew and have announced to the ambassadors of their (crew) countries in Tehran that (the crew members) have access to consular services, they (the ship's crew) will be released and extradited," he said.
In mid-April, Iranian media reported the seizure of a Portuguese-flagged cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the IRNA news agency, the ship was seized by Iranian special forces due to a violation of maritime law.
