IRGC strikes US military infrastructure in Bahrain

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the destruction of fuel tanks belonging to the US Navy's 5th Fleet in Bahrain, Report informs via Tasnim news agency.

"Oil and gas exports in the region should be available to all or none," the statement reads.

The IRGC also claims that the US has blocked oil and gas export routes through the Indian Ocean, jeopardizing the interests of its economic competitors. Tehran therefore stated that the closure of other export routes serving the interests of Washington and its allies is to be expected.

The statement also noted that the IRGC had previously reported strikes on US facilities in Kuwait.

According to Iran, a satellite communications center, an air defense radar station, a Patriot air defense missile system, a US military base, and HIMARS launchers were destroyed in Kuwait.
