Tajikistan, Kazakhstan sign cooperation agreement

Tajikistan and Kazakhstan have signed a friendship, good neighborliness and cooperation agreement aimed at the development of Central Asia in the 21st century, Report informs, referring to the Tajik president"s press service.
The document was signed by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu.
The parties reviewed issues of political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, as well as prospects for the development of inter-parliamentary dialogue.
In addition, preparations for the CIS summit and the meeting in the "Central Asia - Russia" format to be held in Dushanbe were discussed.
