The strategic alliance between Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Pakistan was once again emphasized at the May 28 Independence Day events held in Lachin, reads an article published Turkish Star newspaper, Report informs.
In this context, the author recalled that the slogan "three states, one nation" was formed during the Second Karabakh War:
"The concept of three states, one nation is not only an ideological phrase, but also an indicator that the common past and cultural ties of these three countries are combined with a specific strategic plan aimed at the future."
The article emphasized that all three countries have many things in common:
"These define our potential. The parties that formed our union have reversed the policy of separation that Western imperialism has practiced for the past two centuries. At a time when the concept of Western-centered power is being shaken, this union can be strengthened more easily through intelligent and independence-oriented policies."
The article noted that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has always made statements supporting Pakistan during the Pakistan-India tension:
"As Aliyev emphasized in his statements, Azerbaijan is undertaking major projects to contribute to energy security not only regionally but also in a wider geography. Thus, the alliance between the three countries is not just a cooperation nourished by historical and cultural ties, but is also being formed as a strategic partnership."
