Sobyanin: Ban on launch of drones introduced in Moscow since May 3

Moscow has banned the launch of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) since May 3, Mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel, Report informs.
“We have decided to impose a ban on the launch of unmanned aerial vehicles in the city of Moscow from today, with the exception of UAVs used by decisions of state authorities,” he wrote.
Sobyanin noted that the decision was made to prevent the illegal use of drones, which could complicate the work of law enforcement agencies. He reminded that the unauthorized launch of drones entails administrative and criminal liability.
