Situation will get worse in Armenia: Pashinyan says

COVID-19 cases are growing in Armenia due to the violation of the self-isolation regime. So the situation in the country may deteriorate sharply, Report says, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page.

He noted that after the government decided to ease economic restrictions gradually, there were more people on Yerevan streets. They do not keep social distance.

"If this continues, the circumstances will deteriorate dramatically, and we will have to re-apply restrictions."

According to the Health Ministry, as of May 13, 3,718 people have contracted COVID-19 in Armenia, while 48 died.
