The heart of energy beats in brotherly Azerbaijan, where the vision for the future of energy and the directions for the transformation of the electric power sector are being shaped, Shamil Ayrim, Head of the Türkiye–Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group and a member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, said in a post on X.

Report quotes him as saying he arrived in Baku together with Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye, to participate in the Baku Energy Forum.

According to the Turkish parliamentarian, Türkiye and Azerbaijan will continue to strengthen their close cooperation in the energy sector, contributing to regional energy security and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
