Samvel Karapetyan to remain in custody by court decision

Samvel Karapetyan will remain in custody following a court ruling, the businessman"s lawyer, Aram Vardevanyan, stated, Report informs via Armenian media.

Vardevanyan stated that the Court of Appeals rejected the defense"s complaint.

Karapetyan was initially arrested in June for two months on charges of openly calling for the seizure of power. In mid-August, the court extended his detention by another two months.
