Russia's national anthem was heard at an extraordinary session of the Georgian parliament.
The local Bureau of Report informs that the anthem Nona Mamulashvili, a member of the opposition United National Movement Party, and Mikheil Sarjveladze, a Chairman of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, played off the anthem on a mobile phone.
After that, the disorder broke out in the legislature. Parliament Speaker Kakha Kuchava called the MP's actions embarrassing.
"Bravo, bravo! "You performed the Russian national anthem at the place where the Georgian independence act was signed," he said.
Notably, the meeting includes political debates on the annual report of Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
