Russia to receive up to $40B from hydrogen sale by 2030

Russia’s revenues from the sale of hydrogen on the global market by 2030 may reach $40 billion, Special Representative of the Russian President for relations with international organizations on sustainable development Anatoly Chubais said, Report informs referring to TASS.
“Up to 10 new industries may emerge in Russia by 2030 as part of the energy transition. One of such industries is the use of hydrogen as a new blue fuel. Russia has a fantastic advantage. I believe that by 2030 Russia may reach a sales volume of 6 to 10 million tons of hydrogen on the world market. This makes up to $40 billion,” Chubais said.
