Russia to open consulate in Zangazur 

Russia will open a consulate in the Gafan city of the Zangazur (Syunik) region of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, said in the parliament, Report informs.

“The Russian side applied for the opening of a consulate in Gafan. Armenia has agreed accordingly, taking into account all the nuances,” the minister said.

However, Mirzoyan did not say when the consulate will be opened: “Armenian and Russian relevant structures are cooperating on this issue.”
