Russia starts developing anti-COVID chewing gum

The Central Scientific-Research Institute of the Russian Defense Ministry has begun developing anti-COVID medicine that will look like chewing gum, Report informs, referring to the RBC channel.

The director of the institute, Colonel Sergei Borisevich, confirmed this information.

Previously, the Central Scientific-Research Institute participated in creating a vaccine against COVID Sputnik V. The current drug is a mucosal vaccine in the form of gum and pastille.

“After the tests, the drug will be included in various regimens for the treatment and prevention of coronavirus infection,” the source said.
