Russia sees over 21,000 new COVID cases

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 21,665 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, this is the highest number since January 21 this year, Report informs referring to TASS.
The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 5,430,753. The total number of recoveries in Russia has amounted to 4,943,986, including 14,347 recoveries over the past day.
To date, a total of 132,683 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 619 deaths seen over the past day.
