Russia's COVID-19 death toll tops 19 thousand

144 more fell victim to COVİD-19 over the past day in Russia, bringing the country's official number to 19,061, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.
Operational headquarters for combating the spread of coronaviru told reporters.
"Over the past day, 144 deaths have been confirmed with 19,061 deaths so far."
Moreover, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Russia increased by 5,762 per day.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
