Russia records over 900 COVID deaths 2 days in row

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 28,647 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.
The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 7,775,365.
To date, a total of 216,415 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 962 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 6,858,119.
Currently, there are 700,831 active cases in the country.
More than 238.4 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 4.8 million lives, though unable to cope with 215.5 million patients, who managed to recover.
