Russia records over 9,000 COVID cases per day

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 9,289 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.
The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 5,053,748.
Currently, 262,457 Russians are undergoing treatment to beat the viral disease.
To date, a total of 120,807 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 401 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 4,670,484.
More than 170.1 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 3.53 million lives, though unable to cope with 152.02 million patients, who managed to recover.
