Russia records 9,500 COVID cases per day

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 9,500 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.
The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 5,081,417.
Currently, 265,965 Russians are undergoing treatment to beat the viral disease.
To date, a total of 121,873 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 372 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 4,693,579.
More than 171.4 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 3.56 million lives, though unable to cope with 153.8 million patients, who managed to recover.
