"Russia's terms on the resumption of air communication with Georgia remain in force," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko told TASS, Georgian Bureau of Report informs.
According to him, the resumption of flights depends on the situation with the coronavirus pandemic and the Georgian side's compliance with the conditions to ensure the safety of Russians in the country.
The Foreign Ministry official said that Russian officials repeatedly voiced these conditions.
Russia has suspended direct flights to Georgia since July 8, 2019.
