Russia, Iran prepare new agreement on strategic partnership

Russia and Iran are preparing a new cooperation agreement with the aim of bringing the relations to the level of strategic partnership, Kremlin said in a statement on the meeting between the Russian leader Vladimir Putin and the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization held in Samarkand, Report informs.
"Currently, a new interstate agreement is being prepared to bring cooperation to the level of strategic partnership," it reads.
