Russia denies attempts to assassinate Zelensky

"Reports that the Russian government wants to assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are wide off the mark," Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
Reports were rife that members of the Russian Wagner group plotted to assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
Markian Lubkivsky, an adviser to Ukraine's defense minister, said that evidence of the attempted assassination plot had been presented to the International Court of Justice and Ukrainian intelligence officers had identified and killed several Wagner members.
There have been reports of a total of 10 assassination attempts against Volodymyr Zelensky.
