Russia confirms 10,028 COVID-19 cases per day

According to operational headquarters, to combat the spread of coronavirus infection of the country, the total tally stands for 242,271.

Russia's coronavirus response center said 96 people died overnight, bringing the official death toll to 2,212.

In particular, 53 patients died in Moscow, seven in the suburbs, 5 in Saint Petersburg, four in the Kaluga region, and three in Dagestan, Ingushetia, and the Nizhny Novgorod region.

During the day, 4,491 people recovered from COVID-19 in the Russian Federation, while 48,003 were discharged from hospitals.
