Riots in military unit in Armenia, soldiers deserted

An incident occurred in one of the military units of Armenia related to the unwillingness of conscripts to return to service from vacation, Report informs, referring to Sputnik Armenia.
According to the Armenian Defense Ministry's press service, on Feb. 23, a group of service members and their relatives tried to prevent the soldiers from returning to their places of permanent deployment, as a result of which there were riots on the territory of the unit. Some soldiers, taking advantage of the situation, left the unit without permission.
The unit's command ordered an official investigation, the military police are looking for the deserted soldiers, and criminal cases will be initiated against them.
