Repairs at the Orsk refinery in Russia's Orenburg Oblast, where a fire broke out after a UAV attack, may take up to six months, Report informs via Russian media.
Regional Governor Yevgeny Solntsev said this on social media.
"The situation there is difficult. Key infrastructure was hit and cannot yet be restored. The equipment is imported, and given the sanctions, repair work will take up to six months. The plant has been completely stopped. We are preparing for the worst-case scenario," he said.
Solntsev said the region will have to rely on imported fuel, adding that logistics routes are already being adjusted.
"Of 287 filling stations, 80% are operating. Special-purpose vehicles are the priority today," he said.
