Russian senator arrested in meeting hall

Baku. 30 January. REPORT.AZ/ Senator Rauf Arashukov was arrested at the meeting hall of the Russian Federation Council.
Report informs citing the TASS that he is accused of the killing of the leader of the Adiges Khase Youth Movement, 36-year-old Aslan Jurkov.
Jurkov was shot dead in front of his house in March 2010. Arashukov denied the accusations.
Notably, 32-year-old Rauf Arshukov was elected a member of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation from Karachay-Cherkessia. He is the son of the well-known entrepreneur of the natural gas industry, Raul Turkbiyevich.
