Rally under slogan "Freedom for Misha!" staged in Georgia

A rally demanding the release of former President Mikheil Saakashvili is being held in the Georgian city of Rustavi.
The rally under the slogan “Freedom to Misha!” is taking place in front of jail NO. 12 where Saakashvili is detained.
The demonstration involves numerous supporters of the United National Movement Party (UNMP), led by Saakashvili. Support groups from different parts of the country also joined the action.
The protesters are holding the flags of Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and NATO.
Security measures around the penitentiary facility have been enhanced.
