Putin thanks military personnel, law enforcement bodies for loyalty to Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking on the porch of the Palace of Facets, thanked the entire personnel of the Armed Forces, as well as special services of law enforcement agencies for their courage, valor and loyalty to the people of Russia, Report informs citing Russian media.

The Russian leader said the determination and courage of the military and security forces, as well as the consolidation of society, played a decisive role in suppressing the rebellion.

He added that Moscow did not have to withdraw combat units from the war zone in Ukraine during the attempted mutiny.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will address the units of the Ministry of Defense, the FSB, the Russian Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSO, which ensured order during the Wagner rebellion and participated in its suppression, Russian President's Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists, Report informs via TASS.

Peskov added that Putin will also meet separately with some military personnel.

He noted that the appeal to the units of law enforcement agencies and the meeting with military personnel "are two rather important events."
