Putin: Russia's GDP grew by 3.6% in 2023

The growth of the Russian economy in 2023 turned out to be higher than the world average, with the country's GDP having grown by 3.6%, Russian President Vladimir Putin said as he opened a meeting on economic issues, Report informs via TASS.
"Economic growth last year turned out to be higher than forecasts. Russia's GDP increased, we previously expected a 3.5% increase, but according to the latest data, it reaches 3.6%. This is higher than the world average," he said, noting that this figure averages 3% worldwide, and the economies of developed countries are growing by an average of 1.5%.
