Putin: Russia continues work on Bushehr NPP despite situation in Iran

Despite the complexity of the situation around Iran, Russia continues its work on the nuclear reactor in Bushehr, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

Report informs via Russian media that Putin said they built a nuclear reactor in Iran, in Bushehr, despite the complex situation around Iran.

"We have signed a contract to construct two more nuclear reactors. And despite all the difficulties and certain risks, we continue this work," he said.
