Putin, Mohammed bin Salman stress need to halt operations in Middle East

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud discussed the situation in the Middle East during a phone call, according to the Kremlin press service, Report informs via Russian media outlets.

Both sides emphasized the urgent need to halt military operations and to intensify political and diplomatic efforts for a long‑term resolution of the conflict, taking into account the legitimate interests of all parties.

Putin and the Crown Prince noted that the Middle East crisis negatively affects global energy security. They also stressed the importance of stabilizing the oil market within the framework of OPEC+.

The two leaders expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation between their countries.
